ABSTRACT
A direct-liquid-cooled side-pumped Nd:YAG multi-disk QCW laser resonator is presented, in which the oscillating propagates through multiple thin disks and cooling flow layers Brewster angle. Twenty by LD arrays are directly cooled flowing deuteroxide at end surfaces. output with highest pulse energy of 17.04 J obtained width 250 μs repetition rate 25 Hz, corresponding to an optical-optical efficiency 34.1% a slope 44.5%. The maximum average power 7.48 kW achieved 500 Hz. Due thermal effects, decreases 30%. Under 12.5 pumping condition while not oscillating, wavefront He-Ne probe passing gain module as low 0.256 μm (RMS) defocus tetrafoil subtracted.
