ABSTRACT
We demonstrate the enhancement of resolution and image quality in terahertz (THz) lens-free in-line digital holography by sub-pixel sampling with double-distance reconstruction. Multiple shifted low-resolution (LR) holograms recorded a pyroelectric array detector (100 μm × 100 pixel pitch, 124 pixels) are aligned precisely to synthesize high-resolution (HR) hologram. By this method, lateral is no more limited 150 obtained, which corresponds 1.26λ respect illuminating wavelength 118.8 (2.52 THz). Compared other published works, date, highest THz when considering wavelength. In addition, suppress twin-image zero-order artifacts, complex amplitude distributions both object illuminaing background wave fields reconstructed simultaneously. This achieved iterative phase retrieval between double HR images at two recording planes, does not require any constraints on plane or priori knowledge sample.
