ABSTRACT
Michelson interferometers have been routinely used in various applications ranging from testing optical components to interferometric time-resolved spectroscopy measurements. Traditionally, plate beamsplitters are employed redistribute radiation between the two arms of an interferometer. However, such interferometer is susceptible relative phase fluctuations resulting vibrations beamsplitter. This drawback circumvented diffraction-grating-based interferometers, which especially beneficial where highly stable delays replica beams required. In vast majority grating-based reflective diffraction gratings as beamsplitters. Their efficiency, however, strongly wavelength dependent. Therefore transmission-grating can be advantageous for methods, since they provide high efficiency over a wide spectral range. Here, we present and characterize transmission interferometer, practically dispersion-free, has intrinsically symmetry stability moderate throughput promising range applications.
