ABSTRACT
We have demonstrated the generation of multicolor noise-like pulse complex in a passively Yb-doped mode-locked fiber laser based on single mode-graded index multimode-single mode (SMF-GIMF-SMF) device as saturable absorber (SA). The stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) effect leads to cascaded main (NLP) at 1028.8 nm together with noise like (RP) 1076.1 nm. generated dual wavelength pulses demonstrate unique properties mutually synchronization and coherence. autocorrelation traces show that each synchronously exhibits double-scale structure narrow peak which consists train quasi-periodic beat 35.7 fs width separation about 77.2 fs. total output power reaches 102.5 mW 34% it belonging RP. And furthermore, by separating two spectral filters, modulation fringes cannot be observed anymore. These results indicate component participates mode-locking operation ‘signal’ instead ‘noise’. Such coherent source provides novel platform for numerous applications, such frequency comb spectroscopy so on.
