ABSTRACT
As a result of the influence indoor multipath effects, visible light positioning (VLP) technology based on received signal strength (RSS) has difficulty providing stable and highly accurate position estimation. In order to cope with this challenge, trilateration-based method using channel state information (CSI) is proposed. Two algorithms that can estimate number paths are studied, which prerequisites for obtaining an ratio power line-of-sight (LOS) path total power. Unlike traditional trilateration methods where used, proposed introduces CSI as means estimating LOS path, it uses ranging. By reducing interference from reflected in power, high-precision high-reliability capabilities. The performance environment four LED bulbs single photodetector (PD) evaluated through simulation. simulation results demonstrate provides average accuracy 6.1 cm maximum error 17.7 cubic space size 4 m×4 m×3 m. Compared existing least-squares (LS) new achieves approximately 83% improvement mean 81% root square (RMSE).
