ABSTRACT
Polymer materials have the advantages of a low Young's modulus and low-cost preparation process. In this paper, polymer-based optical waveguide pressure sensor based on Bragg structure is proposed. The change in wavelength output spectrum grating (WBG) used to linearly characterize acting device. WBG was developed through polymer film process, experimental results show that signal device has sensitivity 1.275 nm/kPa with measurement range 0-12 kPa an accuracy 1 kPa. indicate already perfectly responds pulse signal. It significant potential application value medical diagnostics health testing, such as blood monitoring, sleep quality tactile sensing.
