Impact of the geometry of the excitation structure on optical skyrmion

ABSTRACT
Optical skyrmions have attracted great attention for the potential applications in novel information storage and communication. It is of significance to get insight into generation optical by surface waves. Here, we paid greater emphasis on influence geometry coupling structure formation skyrmions. are constructed from superposition interfering plasmons excited polygon trenches Ag film. The results show field texture mainly determined excitation structure, with distinct properties revealed various closed non-closed geometries. Moreover, ratio between electric strengths can be larger than 4 optimized unoptimized structures. pattern skyrmion shows a strong dependence implying significant role topology it plays.
