ABSTRACT
Eye trackers play a crucial role in the development of future display systems, such as head-mounted displays and augmented reality glasses. However, ensuring robustness accuracy gaze estimation poses challenges, particularly with limited space available for transmitter receiver components within these devices. To address issues, we propose what believe is novel eye tracker design mounted on foldable temples, which not only supports accurate but also provides slim form-factor unobstructed vision. Our temple-mounted utilizes near-infrared imaging system incorporates patterned mirror calibration markers. We present wearable prototypes introduce unique extraction algorithm by considering mirror's spatial reflectance distribution. The evaluated through tests involving multiple users realistic scenarios. conclude an evaluation results comprehensive discussion applicability tracker.
