ABSTRACT
We present a systematic theoretical study on the angular distribution and linear polarization of x-ray line emissions neon-like ions following electron-impact excitation from ground state to excited levels [(2 p 5 ) 1/2 3 d 3/2 ] J =1 , 5/2 s . The cross sections are calculated by using flexible atomic code under configuration-interaction plus many-body perturbation theory method. obtained based density matrix theory. Emphasis has been placed effect configuration mixing polarization. It proved that strong with can result in abrupt change Z -dependence indicates be expected serve as tool for investigation effect.
