ABSTRACT
The development of solid-state nonlinear optical limiting (NOL) materials is crucial for advancing the practicality in field limiting. In this paper, we innovatively prepare a new solid NOL material which spiral carbon nanotubes doped epoxy resin (SCNTs-doped ER, SER) with simple physical mixing method, and achieve an excellent performance. We experimentally measured SER different SCNTs concentrations (0.14, 0.28, 0.43 mg/mL) obtained absorption coefficient, refractive index, third-order susceptibility at wavelength 1064 nm. Z-scan experiment results show that exhibits large coefficient (5.07 ± 0.38) × 10 −9 m/W. also measure transmittance to evaluate its For mg/mL concentration, linear minimum effects nm are 54.8% 26.2%, respectively. addition, has prominent features such as high damage threshold easy fabrication, indicating promising
