Concurrent adaptive inter-ONU and upstream communications are experimentally demonstrated in 25km@101.6Gbit/s IMDD hybrid SSB OFDM-DFMA PONs, offering a promising candidate to meet 5G beyond networks’ requirements terms of latency, bitrate connection density.
