ABSTRACT
A simple interferometric polarimeter with an integrated calibration scheme is proposed for accurate and fast mapping of the state polarization (SOP). Conventional single-shot polarimeters that detect amplitude phase orthogonally polarized field components by interferometry using Fourier fringe analysis suffers from errors caused imperfect reference beam ambiguity in spatial carrier frequency pattern. In system, eliminates those error sources enables measurement SOP without prior knowledge frequency.
