ABSTRACT
Optical chaos communication encounters difficulty in high-speed transmission due to the challenge of realizing wideband synchronization. Here, we experimentally demonstrate a synchronization using discrete-mode semiconductor lasers (DMLs) master-slave open-loop configuration. The DML can generate with 10-dB bandwidth 30 GHz under simple external mirror feedback. By injecting into slave DML, an injection-locking coefficient 0.888 is realized. A parameter range frequency detuning -18.75 approximately 1.25 strong injection identified for yielding In addition, find it more susceptible achieve lower bias current and smaller relaxation oscillation frequency.
