ABSTRACT
The long-standing problem of nearly perfect photosynthetic yield in some types bacteria and all kinds plants despite the interaction with a hot noisy environment has witnessed quantum optical explanations last decade or so. Typically these explanations, reaction centers are modeled as five-level heat engines where generation Fano-type interference due to coupling discrete state transitions common Markovian reservoir is held responsible for enhancement efficiency. In this work, we go beyond Born-Markov approximation used earlier works study impact non-Markovian environments Lorentzian spectral densities on dynamics light-harvesting complexes.
