ABSTRACT
Tailoring the properties of driving laser to need applications often requires compromises among stability, high peak and average power levels, pulse duration, spectral bandwidth. For instance, spectroscopy with optical frequency combs in extreme/visible ultraviolet region a near-IR laser, therefore power, duration few tens fs, maximal available Contrarily, parametric conversion efficiency is higher for pulses 100-fs range due temporal walk-off coating limitations. Here we suggest an approach adjust characteristics high-power chirped-pulse amplification (CPA) requirements different nonlinear converters while preserving low-phase-noise (PN) system. To achieve tunability, installed mechanical shaper free-space section stretcher in-house-developed ytterbium-fiber-based CPA The system delivers 100 W at repetition rate 132.4 MHz. While gaining control over properties, preserve relative-intensity-noise PN can easily be adjusted deliver either spectrum ideal mid-IR light generation (full width half maximum ∼ 11 nm , compressed 230 fs) or highly processes such as high-harmonic ( id="m2"> form="prefix">- 10 dB level id="m3"> form="prefix">> 50 transform-limited id="m4"> 65 fs ).
