Acupuncture has demonstrated positive efficacy in the treatment of brain disorders. However, significant challenges lie integrating acupuncture with modern technologies, promoting its clinical application treating disorders, elucidating mechanisms underlying acupuncture's preventive and therapeutic effects on accelerating pace translational development medicine. This paper briefly outlines current research status, challenges, potential future directions for aiming to provide essential insights modernization
