ABSTRACT
Freshwater lakes and ponds present an ecological interface between humans a variety of host organisms. They are habitat for the larval stage many insects may serve as medium intraspecies interspecies transmission viruses such avian influenza A virus. Furthermore, freshwater bodies already known repositories disease-causing Norwalk Virus, Coxsackievirus, Echovirus, Adenovirus. While RNA virus populations have been studied in marine environments, to this date there has very limited analysis viral community freshwater. Here we survey Lake Needwood, lake Maryland, USA. Our results indicate that just studies other aquatic majority nucleic acid sequences recovered did not show any significant similarity sequences. The remaining mainly from types with approximately 30 families. We speculate these novel infect hosts including plants, insects, fish, domestic animals humans. Among discovered previously unknown dsRNA closely related Banna Virus which is responsible febrile illness endemic Southeast Asia. Moreover found multiple distantly Israeli Acute Paralysis implicated honeybee colony collapse disorder. data suggests due their direct contact humans, wild animals, ecosystems might wide range (both pathogenic non-pathogenic) possibly be involved spread emerging pandemic diseases.
