ABSTRACT
Recent data showed that a six-domain UPOINT is flexible and responsive new classification system has the clinical applicability in CP/CPPS. However, utility of algorithm men China with CP/CPPS not been comprehensively studied. For international validation adoption, we evaluated this phenotype for large cohort Chinese patients correlated it patient symptoms erectile dysfunction (ED). We also investigated addition an ED domain regard to symptom correlation.A total 389 males were prospectively collected classified each system. Symptom severity was measured using NIH-CPSI IPSS. The function IIEF-5. Clinically relevant associations calculated. The percentage positive 54.0%, 42.1%, 41.9%, 20.8%, 26.7%, 40.4% Urinary, Psychosocial, Organ-specific, Infection, Neurological/systemic, Tenderness, respectively. There significant correlations between number domains (r = 0.706, p<0.001), IPSS 0.682, p<0.001) IIEF-5 scores 0.631, P 0.007) cohort. Except age, duration associated significantly greater 0.638, 0.005). After adding create modified system, correlation phenotypic improved (0.706 0.844, p<0.001).The phenotyping validated In our cohort, association further refined by ED. Our findings presented here support as stand-alone item domain.
