Learning Reflectance Confocal Microscopy of Melanocytic Skin Lesions through Histopathologic Transversal Sections

Histopathologic interpretation of dermoscopic and reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM) features cutaneous melanoma was timidly carried out using perpendicular histologic sections, which does not mimic the same plane image achieved at both techniques (horizontal plane). The aim this study to describe transverse sections research technique correlate main characteristic (atypical network, irregular globules pseudopods) with RCM histopathology in order offer a more precise vivo detectable features.
