ABSTRACT
Background The aim of this study was to investigate the current surgical management strategy for bilateral breast cancer (BBC) patients and assess changes in China. Methods This is a retrospective review all with early-stage BBC who underwent treatment at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center between June 2007 2014. Results A total 15,337 primary were identified. Of these patients, 218 (1.5%) suffered from synchronous (sBBC), 296 (2.0%) metachronous (mBBC).
