ABSTRACT
The emergence and spread of NDM-1-producing Enterobacteriaceae have resulted in a worldwide public health risk that has affected some provinces China. China is an exceptionally large country, there crucial need to investigate the epidemic blaNDM-1-positive our province. A total 186 carbapenem-resistant isolates (CRE) were collected grade-3 hospital Zhejiang Carbapenem-resistant genes, including blaKPC, blaIMP, blaVIM, blaOXA-48 blaNDM-1 screened sequenced. Ninety identified as harboring blaKPC-2 five uncovered. XbaI-PFGE revealed three K. pneumoniae belonged two different clones. S1-PFGE southern blot suggested genes located on IncX3-type plasmids with sizes ranging from 33.3 54.7 kb (n=4) 104.5 138.9 (n=1), respectively, all which could easily transfer Escherichia coli by conjugation electrotransformation. high-throughput sequencing was performed leading identification smaller 54-kb plasmid, had high sequence similarity previously reported pCFNDM-CN, larger plasmid only 7.8-kb common gene environment around (blaNDM-1-trpF- dsbC-cutA1-groEL-ΔInsE,) detected. PCR mapping demonstrated four contained (IS5-blaNDM-1-trpF- dsbC-cutA1-groEL). We monitored CRE determined KPC-2 carbapenemase major patient played vital role among CRE.
