ABSTRACT
Food safety is a global public health issue, which often arises from asymmetric information between consumers and suppliers. With the development of technology in human life, building food traceability sharing platform viewed as one best ways to overcome trust crisis resolve problem asymmetry China. However, among myriad available supply chain, there lack knowledge on consumer preference. Based best-worst scaling approach, this paper investigated preferences for vegetable, pork, dairy product information. Specifically, measured relative importance that place traceable The results indicate have varying priorities different cases. "Pesticide/veterinary use," "picking/slaughtering date," "fertilizer/feed use" are most preferred Chinese case vegetables, while date" "history illness taking protective measures" pork. In products, prefer "processing information," "environmental origin," "traceable tag certification information" most. study call direct involvement government system following.
