ABSTRACT
This experiment was carried out aiming to assess walking manner and speed of broiler chickens with different gait scores (GS), or without sound stimulus, administration analgesic. To that end, 1,000 birds were evaluated by the GS test 74 selected for analyses. Weight at slaughter breast yield values obtained comparisons. Walking analyses, both analgesic stimulus performed. Non-parametric statistics applied data did not meet assumptions statistical model (normality homogenicity) using Fisher's exact according behavior (P<0.05). The analyses on speed, weight slaughter, ANOVA compared Tukey's differed after acoustic metamizole sodium. Body also in each GS. It is thus concluded may feel discomfort when their higher than 0, but such be suppressed they are stimulated walk.
