ABSTRACT
Improvement projects (IPs) are a fundamental element in any quality management system from organization. In Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), IPs constantly implemented to maintain excellence academic and administrative processes. this study, we propose model for IP implementation that is based on the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program (BPEP). As part of model, series research hypotheses be tested. The data used test were gathered questionnaire was developed after an extensive literature review. survey administered Mexican public HEIs, more than 700 responses collected. assessed terms convergent discriminant validity, obtaining satisfactory results. To proposed relationships between constructs, utilized Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using software IBM SPSS Amos. analysis confirmed statistical validity both hypotheses. conclusion, our useful tool HEIs seek attain their processes through IPs.
