ABSTRACT
Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the apocrine gland bearing skin, presenting various stages flexural skin pain, erythema, painful nodules, abscesses, sinuses, and fistulas. We aimed to assess serum vitamin D levels in patients with Jordan. cross-sectional comparative study conducted among 110 HS matched controls, who didn't previously receive therapy. Serum was measured classified into normal (>30 ng/ml), insufficient (20-30 low (<20 ng/ml). The mean age cases 43.1 ± 12.9 years duration 19.4 months. body mass index 30 about 34% them were smokers. Vitamin level 8.4 ng/ml all deficient. Patients more likely have deficiency compared healthy controls. Most subjects particularly levels.
