Several studies found that economically active have a similar, if not higher risk of experiencing than inactive as well other emerging countries. challenge these findings for Turkey distinguishing between formal and informal labor market activities who do work because their partner does allow them to are reasons. To increase control endogeneity this cross-sectional setting, we apply an IV-approach based cluster averages. find that, while overall employment cannot lower those participate contribute at least same household income less exposed counterparts. Distinguishing is thus important when it comes investigate association activity violence. This especially case country like which currently undergoes socio-economic changes where therefore very different socioeconomic backgrounds.
