ABSTRACT
A dynamic of virus adaptation and a mass vaccination campaign could significantly reduce the severity clinical manifestations COVID-19 transmission. Hence, may become an endemic disease globally. Moreover, infection as pandemic progressed affected serology patients result mutation vaccination. Therefore, need exists to acquire accurate serological testing monitor emergence new outbreaks promptly prevent control spreading. In this study, anti-Orf8 antibodies among samples collected in Thailand’s first, fourth, fifth waves compared with pre-epidemic sera were determined by indirect ELISA. The diagnostic sensitivity specificity IgG ELISA for from was found be 100% sera. However, larger number patient controls wave which on day 7 14 after RT-PCR positive 58.79 58.44% 89.19 58.44%, respectively. Our data indicated that some might have natural past infections. study highlighted potential utility antibody seroprevalence surveys but still warrants further investigations.
