ABSTRACT
Abstract Academic writing is a staple university practice required across disciplines to determine student success. Despite its ubiquity, however, literacy scholars have long argued that academic both exclusionary and prohibitive. Drawing on the work of we make case for use blogs in higher education as way providing type inclusive or ‘regenring’ such advocate. To achieve this, trial blog final-year undergraduate module, employing mixed-methods approach explore perceptions whether blogging affords them means engage with take ownership their learning. In keeping task set our students, presented this article using blog-like features.
