ABSTRACT
The impact of digital media and technology on performance arts is evident when visual effects (VFX) filming techniques are introduced a film set. Digital technologies influence the actor’s approach to be congruent authentic within circumstances scene. Actors require an effective skillset strategies successfully deliver embodied aligning with various VFX techniques. Focusing imagination, action emotion that would facilitate such performance, we drew relevant neuroscientific notions as neuron reactivation, conceptual blending, as-if body states affordances. Additionally, incorporated concepts from Stanislavski, Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies, Effector Patterns including Emotional Body Approach Lessac Kinesensics development acting programme, advancing required skills providing on-set support congruency authenticity diegetic reality. efficacy this programme was determined by assessing pre- post-intervention recordings both control experimental group trained actors. Reflection-on-action journals participants supplemented assessment. assessments indicate acquired effectively improve technology.
