ABSTRACT
Background and Aim: The use of drugs as a therapy for traumatic ulcers may lead to drug resistance other side effects. Lactobacillus casei Shirota can affect the number fibroblasts blood vessels in wound healing. aim this study was investigate difference fibroblast cells after topical systemic administration L. probiotics Wistar rats with ulcer. Materials Methods: Overall, 36 healthy male aged 2-3 months old weighing 175-250 g body weight were used sample. Traumatic ulcer made on labial fornix incisive inferior. subject divided into groups: (1) A control group over 3 days, (2) that distilled water 7 (3) underwent treatment (4) administered topically (5) (6) took oral days. observed through hematoxylin-eosin examination. Results: Based results study, significant (p=0.00) (p=0.018) 3-day compared 7-day (p=0.00). Conclusion: differences undergoing probiotics.
