Innovations are very important in the development of modern economy and major factor proving competitiveness enterprises, as well national regional economies.Although EU market is one largest world, it not sufficiently innovation-friendly.Currently Europe facing many challenges associated for example with exhaustible natural resources, climate change, an aging population increasing competition from United States.Europe needs more investment research to support its industry improve innovation system.Public private investments R&D crucial enable take advantage any rebound economy.One European solutions deal these problems, new strategy dedicated help socio-economic Union -Europe 2020.The 2020 emphasizes need member states undertake joint action, which would overcome crisis implement reforms enabling them face different problems.In order achieve above objectives some fundamental priorities were included strategy, i.e: smart sustainable growth.The aim this article present general guidelines context current policy, strategic documents activities projects.
