Tourism is an economically relevant sector; however, its development, when unplanned, can negatively impact the preservation of cultural patrimony, and social stability as a consequence. Thus, under bias sustainability, our study result research project that aimed to verify whether there are Actions implemented on behalf environmental management in hotel industry city Carolina, which located region Chapada das Mesas National Park, state Maranhão, Brazil. It based precepts correlated lodging facilities recommended by Ordinance No. 100/2011 Ministry Tourism, Brazilian Association Technical Standards 15401/2006. To effect, this investigation was conducted through techniques exploratory research, with qualitative quantitative approach. Our used questionnaires tools, containing open- closedended questions, applied managers from list registered CADASTUR.
