ABSTRACT
Purpose: we aim is to present a learning approach for students work on hands-on project that may be applied different contexts. This experience relates an initiative foster entrepreneurial education embedded in economic sustainability based the best local practices (highest-ranked municipalities) find and analyze solve complex problems business environment. Design/Methodology/Approach: our collaborate with policymakers at municipal level via research-based called Vertically Integrated Project (VIP). In VIP, instructors long-term effort identify challenges opportunities by working community problems, develop solutions (with techniques approaches), monitor their implementation. Findings: new approaches can engage real-world problem, adding value formation giving back society investment they made Brazilian public university. Originality: this tune 4th 11th sustainable development goals (SDGs) adopted United Nations (UN). Practical implications: study aims stimulate using multidisciplinary alternative approaches. Social deliver SDG-related impact communities linking teaching outreach.
