ABSTRACT
High-speed and long-distance elevator systems have a serious issue that large impact force from an emergency stop device injures the passengers in cage during stoppage. Therefore, we focused on safety of proposed new consists spring magnetorheological fluid damper having variable damping coefficient by controlled magnetic field. In this paper, would like to introduce our test installation spring, damper, sensors, digital controller with LabVIEW linear actuator for simulating deceleration device. Additionally, evaluate fundamental performances was measured using as passive mode.
