HSS work roll wear prediction model for non-oriented electrical steel strip in hot rolling

Based on measured data of HSS (high-speed steel) and HCr (highchromium iron) work rolls applied in 1580mm HSM (hot strip mills) with mass production electrical steel strip, an roll wear prediction model upstream stands for non-oriented rolling was established by genetic algorithm. The accuracy the verified could guide practical production.
