ABSTRACT
Strelitzias are tropical plants that have shown great interest in the market and can be used landscaping floral arrangements. Aiming to extend its postharvest life, objective of work was evaluate different concentrations commercial product based on carnauba wax longevity Strelitzia juncea reginae leaves. The experiment conducted a completely randomized design with five treatments six repetitions, one leaf per repetition for each species. were: 0% (control), 2%, 20%, 40% 100%. loss mass (%) visual quality leaves were evaluated through criterion notes, addition making use anatomical analyzes stomatal structures scanning microscopy. reduced increase concentration, however, high doses provided increased loss. proved efficient at 20 40%, maintaining S. until 24th day, while control treatment, maintained pattern 16th 18th day juncea. deposition may influenced both species as observed by
