ABSTRACT
Aging promotes a range of degenerative pathologies characterized by progressive losses tissue and/or cellular function. Fibrosis is the hardening, overgrowth and scarring various tissues accumulation extracellular matrix components. an important predisposing factor common for fibrotic heart respiratory disease. Age-related processes such as senescence, inflammaging, autophagy mitochondrial dysfunction are interconnected biological that diminish regenerative capacity aged lung have been shown to play crucial role in cardiac fibrosis idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. This review focuses on these four aging relation their It has long established linked both functionally anatomically when it comes health disease, with ever-expanding population, incidence disease therefore number fibrosis-related deaths will continue rise. There currently no feasible therapies treat effects chronic highlighting importance exploring its inducing exacerbating each organ. The focus this may help highlight potential avenues therapeutic exploration.
