ABSTRACT
This paper analyzes the effect of addition historical land-use as a descriptive feature in plot-based image classification when updating land-use/land-cover geospatial databases. Several databases have been simulated to assess influence and significance this classification. The causes, nature, evolution errors database currency varies are analyzed; impact these on change detection during process is evaluated. results show that information increases overall accuracy classifications. During process, changes detected by comparing with results. main drawback employing for percentage undetectable significantly more accurate information.
