ABSTRACT
Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PNL) for upper urinary tract stones is a minimally invasive, effective treatment modality. Despite its high success rates, potential complications pose risk. In this study, we aimed to determine the risk factors associated with bleeding which one of PNL's most important complications. The data patients who underwent PNL between January 2017 and December 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. The median reduction in post-operative hemoglobin levels compared preoperative was found be 1.6 g/dl, accepted as threshold value. decrease above assigned Group 1, below 2. Pre-operative, perioperative data, stone characteristics recorded.169 patients, 85 1 84 2 included study. mean age significantly higher (47.4±7.9 32±9.4 years, respectively, p=0.001) Sixteen (18.8%) six (7, 1%) had diagnosis hypertension (HT) significant difference (p=0.038). average burden 2733±1121.3 mm3 2326.5±975.6 It observed that there (p=0.001). There groups terms operation time (84.4±7 76.2±9.9 min, p<0.001). When complication rates analyzed, 25 (29.4%) 12 (14.2%) 2, both (p=0.019). Age HT independent decline multivariate analyzes (p<0.001 p<0.027, respectively). In study; advanced age, presence HT, predictive reductions levels. Furthermore, correlation decreased detected operative times occurrence complications.
