GTM-based service map to identify new service opportunities

ABSTRACT
This study proposes a unique approach for developing and utilising generative topographic mapping (GTM)–based service maps to discover new opportunities of smartphone application (SAS) with case App Store. Since GTM is probabilistic multidimensional data space onto low–dimensional latent vice versa, it contributes the automatic detection interpretation derived vacuums that must be intensively investigated SAS. The main contributions potential utilities this are threefold. First, theoretically development (NSD) research in mobile area by proposing an intelligent approach. Secondly, exploratory inverse model first proposed. Lastly, since all activities process could computerised, researchers, engineers, managers, etc., who interested NSD can save considerable time effort when uncovering terms managerial implications.
