ABSTRACT
Prior research has suggested that family businesses may have a higher proclivity to behave as good corporate citizens, compared with non-family firms, which impact financial performance. However, while this idea is intuitively appealing, the actual antecedents of citizenship behaviour in firm context not yet been assessed systematically. In addition, empirical evidence regarding on performance remains inconclusive. Drawing from literature business goals and citizenship, our conceptual framework proposes family-centred business-centred act determinants but each different impact.
