ABSTRACT
In this study, the production, performance and emission characteristics of biodiesel blends produced from bitter ground nut oil were compared to diesel fuel. first part research, production groundnut optimisation process parameters undertaken. second part, 4-cylinder Tata Indica engine has been studied at different speeds. During tests, showed higher brake specific fuel consumption exhaust gas temperature, while marginally lower power, torque thermal efficiency than noticed. Engine emissions carbon dioxide nitrogen oxide releases, but decreased amount monoxide for From experimental results, it is clear that oil-based can also be used in a CI without any modifications.
