Innovation in virtual social networks: the widespread of new electronic currencies and the emergence of a new category of entrepreneurs

ABSTRACT
The internet network hosts an increasing number of large synthetic worlds. These virtual worlds exhibit most the characters we associate with real world like interpersonal relationships, economic transactions, production goods and services, political institutions? Inside these worlds, new behaviours can be studied entrepreneurs emerge. By focusing on widespread private electronic currencies, this paper shows first main benefits for e-money users entering in a community payments. Second, behaviour money (e-money) externalities effects are studied. Thirdly, phenomenon emergence category specialised creation regulation monetary regime exposed.
