ABSTRACT
With a certain battery capacity, the mileage of an electric vehicle depends on efficiency powertrain. In this paper, novel dual-motor multi-mode coupling powertrain (DMMCP) is proposed. This paper compares it with traditional composed single-motor and two-speed transmission (SMTSP). To make fair comparison, influence component parameters must be considered. So proposes method which can evaluate dynamic or economic performance at same time parameter optimisation. Then economy two powertrains are evaluated respectively. The results show that DMMCP better than SMTSP, so has enormous development potential.
