Abstract Research Data has emerged as a 1 st class research citizen, providing prospects for new services, projects, and ultimately users. In the context of long tail data, we aim to make this data available researchers across disciplines via set metadata-based services. The metadata component – GeRDI schema represents one key challenges faced in undertaking.
