ABSTRACT
This case study discusses the implementation of Healey, Flint, and Harrington's (2014) model student engagement through partnership with staff. Healey et al. identify issues associated “putting into practice” including inclusivity scale, power relations, reward recognition, transition sustainability, identity. Faculty, staff, students participating in a Students as Partners (SaP) Program at McMaster University’s MacPherson Institute encountered these during Scholarship Teaching Learning (SOTL) project. paper explores our reflections suggests refinements related to above five issues. It concludes by identifying possible new directions for SaP programs.
