ABSTRACT
Obesity is a worldwide epidemic with high prevalence of comorbidities, including alterations in bone mineral metabolism. The purpose this yearlong study was to evaluate the role 2 types exercise training (aerobic and aerobic plus resistance exercise) on adipokines parameters metabolism adolescents who are obese. This clinical trial interdisciplinary weight loss therapy. Forty-two postpubertal obese were subjected therapy physical exercise, medical monitoring, nutritional intervention, psychological intervention. Data collected from serum analyses leptin, ghrelin, adiponectin, glucose, insulin. Anthropometric measurements body composition, density, visceral, subcutaneous fat also performed. Statistical tests applied using repeated-measures analysis variance. Correlations established Pearson test, dependencies variables simple linear regression test. Both promoted reductions mass index, total central, visceral fat, insulin concentration, homeostasis model assessment (HOMA-IR) but only showed statistical improvements content, adiponectin lean tissue. Effective reduction visceral/subcutaneous ratio, central/peripheral leptin concentration observed. Insulin HOMA-IR index negative predictors content combined group. Moreover, distribution predictor for density both groups. Aerobic promotes protective associated an improvement concentrations, favoring control inflammatory state related obesity adolescents. interventions provides important strategies approach obesity, these may contribute practice.
