ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to assess the reliability and validity modified Conconi test on Concept II rowing ergometers. Twenty-eight oarsmen conducted 3 performance tests separate days. Reliability assessed using break point in heart rate (HR) linearity called (CT) retest (CRT) for noninvasive measurement anaerobic threshold (AT). Blood lactate considered gold standard assessment AT, CT by blood samples taken during an incremental load (ILT) According results, mean power output (PO) scores CT, CRT, ILT were 234.2 +/- 40.3 W, 232.5 39.7 229.7 39.6 respectively. HR values at AT 165.4 11.2 b.min, 160.4 10.8 158.3 8.8 Interclass correlation coefficient (ICC) analysis indicated a significant between with one another. Also, Bland Altman plots showed that there association PO HRs (95% confidence interval [CI]). In conclusion, is reliable valid method determining elite men rowers.
