ABSTRACT
Background and objective: Helicobacter pylori infection metabolic syndrome are two progressive factors noticed in developing countries, but their association is still controversial. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of both subjects with without syndrome. Methods: A case-control was conducted at Ble General Hospital, 658 taken divided into groups first those who were diagnosed as (328 subjects) second control group (330 subjects). pylori-specific IgG antibody some biochemical tests performed for besides other parameters like blood pressure BMI. Results: Having associated a higher probability having Abs (OR = 1.6; 95% CI 1.096-2.341). Age 40-49 years had more have 2.054; 1.086-3.883). The reported females (77.4 %). No significant differences detected between rapid method ELIZA detection stool Ag (P 0.921) <0.001). Conclusion: demonstrates that compared controls. also showed immunochromatography reliable not Ab.
