ABSTRACT
Cholinergic afferents to the amygdala from basal forebrain were studied using di-isopropyl fluorophosphate-AChE histochemistry in combination with retrograde tracing various fluorescent dyes. Cells sending their axons and staining intensely for AChE located mainly nucleus of substantia innominata. They also found ventral part globus pallidus, horizontal limb tractus diagonalis Broca, interstitialis ansae lenticularis. A correspondence was established between these cells choline acetyltransferase by immunohistochemistry both distribution morphology. Non-cholinergic neurons which send innominata complex.
